The term \u201c3D printing\u201d is being used more and more as a synonym for it. Laser sintering is, however, unlike classic 3D printing, a professional manufacturing method that produces extremely accurate, mechanically highly robust, series-compatible components.<\/p>\n<p>The process differs significantly from conventional erosive manufacturing methods. Instead of, for example, milling a workpiece out of a solid block of material or producing a component by injection or moulding, the additive method builds parts layer by layer out of finely powdered material. Different metals, plastics and composites are available in this form.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section><\/p><\/div><div class=\"flex_column av_two_third  flex_column_div   \" ><div class=\"tabcontainer   top_tab  \">\n\n<section class=\"av_tab_section\"  itemscope=\"itemscope\" itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/CreativeWork\" >    <div data-fake-id=\"#tab-id-1\" class=\"tab active_tab\"  itemprop=\"headline\" >Technical details<\/div>\n    <div id=\"tab-id-1-container\" class=\"tab_content active_tab_content\">\n        <div class=\"tab_inner_content invers-color\"  itemprop=\"text\" >\n<p>Im Produktionsverfahren wird eine d\u00fcnne Schicht des Pulverwerkstoffs auf die Bauplattform aufgetragen.<\/p>\n<p>Ein Hochleistungslaser schmilzt das Pulver exakt an den Stellen auf, welche die computergenerierten Bauteil-Konstruktionsdaten vorgeben. Danach senkt sich die Fertigungsplattform um eine Schichtst\u00e4rke ab. Je nach Material und Werkstoff zwischen 40 und 150 \u00b5m. Es folgt der n\u00e4chste Pulverauftrag.
